DAY 1: GUWAHATI AIRPORT TO SHILLONG

Arrive in Guwahati airport, received and then we will drive to Nilachal hill and visit the greatest shakti temple in India – Maa Kamakhya, and then drive to Shillong (120kms / 3 hrs drive), enroute stop at the scenic view point of the Umiam Lake, on reaching Shillong check into hotel, after refreshment, explore the local markets in Police Bazaar. Overnight, stay at Shillong.

(Depending on flight timing sightseeing can be included)

 

Day 2: SHILLONG TO CHERAAPUNJJEE

Today after breakfast we set to explore Shillong and Cherrapunjee (56 kms / 02 hrs drive one way), first visit the Elephant falls, and then drive further to Cherrapunjee, stop at Mawkadok View Point, visit the Nohkhalikai Falls (the fourth highest falls in the world), Mawsmai Cave, Dainthlen Falls and Wai Saw Dong falls, Eco Park. After exploring for the day checkin to Cherrapunjjee Hotel and over night in Cherrapunjjee.

 

DAY 3 : CHERRAPUNJEE– MAWLLYNNONG – CHERRAPUNJEE

Today after breakfast we drive to Mawllynnong (110 kms / 02 ½ hrs drive), explore the village and also trek for 10 min to visit the Single Decker Living Root Bridge in Riwai village, also enjoy a boat ride in the crystal clear Dawki River in Shnongpdeng Village, after the daylong excursion, back to Hotel in Cherrapunjjee overnight stay.

( IT IS A LONG DAY EXCURSION – 08-9 HOURS)

 

DAY 4 : CHERRAPUNJEE - SHILLONG

Today after breakfast drive to Shillong and visit Don Bosco Museum, Cathedral of Mary, Ward’s Lake, Lady Hydari Park, Shillong Peak and evening visit Police Bazar. Overnight, stay in Shillong.

 

DAY 5 : SHILLONG – GUWAHATI

Today after breakfast drive to Guwahati, visit Navagraha temple, Brahmaputra Heritage Museum and after lunch check into your hotel, later enjoy a sunset river crusie in the Brahmaputra River for an hour, back to hotel and overnight stay

 

DAY 6 : GUWAHATI – FLYOUT

After breakfast drive to Guwahati airport for onward destination.

(Sightseeing can be done depending on flight timing and interest).
